Based in Montreal's downtown core, the Senior Manager, Cash & Treasury Management Services Sales (CTMS) will develop a portfolio of existing commercial Structured and Core accounts as well as prospects, including in Quebec City. You are also responsible for assisting designated Scotiabank partners in maximizing the fee income and profitability from the full range of Global Transaction Banking products. You will provide customer service consistent with Scotiabank's exemplary standards and be the primary Cash & Treasury Management Services contact for our commercial client base/ prospects, either alone or with support of the Relationship Managers (as appropriate) depending on the account and customer needs.

You also use your strong team skills and ability to adapt in a rapidly changing marketplace to achieve strong business development results.

Key Accountabilities for this role:

  • As the Senior Manager, Cash & Treasury Management Services Sales, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing profitable new business and maintain/ grow existing business consistent with short and long range Bank objectives.
  • Developing and executing a marketing/calling program on designated companies;
  • Achieving individual sales targets including customer calling activities
  • Marketing all core Cash Management services directly and
  • Calling on specialists for more complex services (e.g. Commercial Cards, Trade Finance) to support the sale.
  • Leveraging existing Scotiabank channels (e.g. Commercial Banking) in a team sales approach aimed at maximizing Scotiabank's share of the client wallet, to achieve annual sales and referral targets.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Strong record of achievement in successfully meeting business development objectives;
  • Knowledge of finance, cash and/or treasury management is an asset. CTMS sales experience in the financial services market is a definite asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret financial statements, market and economic indicators resulting in quality prospects;
  • Demonstrated success in executing an active market/calling plan with minimal direction;
  • Advanced user level proficiency with Internet/PC/Network software applications and the interfacing of data among various information systems;
  • Capacity to learn a variety of software solutions and effectively communicate their value proposition;
  • Experience interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization, particularly at the executive levels;
  • Ability to convey complex information accurately in group and one-on-one presentations;
  • Strong writing skills in both French and English;
  • High level of professional integrity and ensures compliance to related guidelines / policies
  • Ability to travel in support of the calling plan. This position required periodic overnight travel.

EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONS:

  • Degree in finance, business or marketing, or equivalent relative experience;
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation is an asset.
